Thomas College was recently part of a Microsoft Case Study that commended the school’s use of the latest technology for its students.
Thomas College’s IT department spent two months updating Windows 10 campus-wide.
Vice President for Information Services and CIO Chris Rhoda says by preparing students for life after Thomas, he’s giving them an advantage over other graduates starting in the workforce.
“We want our students to have tools that are as good or better than the business they work for.”
Rhoda told one story about a criminal justice intern working for a company who was just about to upgrade employees to the latest version of Windows, and the student became the go-to person for questions because they were already familiar.
