Rosemary Patterson
Rosemary has been a Maine public school educator for over
twenty-five years. She received a B.S. in Elementary
Education from the University of Southern Maine (1979);
certification as a Reading Recovery Teacher (1995); a M.Ed.
in Elementary Education from the University of Maine (1997);
and certification as a Literacy Specialist (2004). During
her career she has been employed as a regular and special
education teacher, as well as a teacher for students
receiving supplemental literacy services in Reading Recovery
and Title 1 programs. She has worked for Waterville Public
Schools since 1990, where currently she is in her eighth
year as a literacy specialist at the George J. Mitchell
School.
