Pre-Law Program at Thomas College
If you’re interested in studying pre-law and entering law school, there’s no single required path that will prepare you for a legal education. Instead, success in law school depends on skills, experiences, and approaches to thinking that you can master across several majors and through a variety of electives. At Thomas, we know a future in law can take a variety of forms and that each student will have different preferences and interests that drive their education.
For that reason, the Pre-Law program at Thomas is not a traditional major. Rather, the program is a system of advising and skill development that will maximize your opportunity to enter law school. In this system, our advisors will work with you to decide on a major that fits your goals and interests. Then, we’ll map out a series of electives that will have you developing the well-rounded research and analytical skills favored by law schools.
