Vendor's Guide to Thomas College
This site has been designed to assist
vendors by outlining procedures for the procurement of goods
and services from Thomas College.
Purchases from the College are coordinated
by the Accounts Payable/Purchasing Coordinator located in
the Accounting Office. Office Hours are 8:00 a.m. to
12 and 1:00 p.m. to 4:30 p.m., Monday through Friday.
Appointments are required if you wish to meet with the
purchasing coordinator.
Vendors must obtain a valid purchasing order
before providing goods and services to the College.
Thomas College reserves the right to delay or withhold
payment related to goods and services provided without a
purchase order number.
Thomas College is exempt from Maine sales
tax. We are a non-profit corporation. The sales
tax exempt number is available from the procurer.
Payment terms are generally net 30. We
will take advantage of discounts. Checks are generated
on Fridays.
