About Thomas
Thomas College prepares students for careers in business, technology, and education. About Gary
Gary Poulin, Instructor in Business at Thomas College, spent over three years teaching international business in Shanghai, China, where he met his wife, originally from Sichuan Province in China. They were married in Tianjin, China, and have since moved back to Maine, where they reside in Waterville. Additionally, they both have businesses in China which they visit during the course of each year. Gary is very active in both sports and outdoor activities, while his wife loves to cook spicy Sichuan dishes as well as get together with her many Chinese friends from around Maine.

We are so excited that you are considering Thomas College as your educational choice. Because we are a small, private college located in the northeast region of the United States, we can offer you not only a solid academic experience, but wonderful social climate in which to learn.
Once we receive your completed application, I will correspond with you to guide you towards your next steps. The items that are needed for your completed application are:
- Application for Admission
- Application fee of $50.00 (US currency)
- Official High School Transcript (One original and one English language copy)
- At least one (1) Letter of Recommendation (We recommend two letters)
- SAT examination
- TOEFL examination
- College essay or Personal Statement: Please talk about a significant experience in your life that will support your application for admission
- Declaration of Financials (I-90 form)
