The Student Outreach Committee will have the opportunity to assist various offices on campus, as follows:
Office of Student Activities. Assist with orientation weekend and move-in day, host a table at commencement, develop alumni panels for Orientation and/or Family Weekend, be a guest at student club and organization events, host a workshop for FS110 (new student orientation course), and plan events and programs to encourage current students to become active alumni.
Office of Career Services. Assist with career fairs, assist with finding full-time, part-time or internship student placement opportunities, create alumni networking opportunities, find opportunities for job-shadowing for current students, conduct phone surveys on behalf of OCS.
Office of Academic Affairs. Attend a class as a guest speaker or assist with finding alumni guest speakers.
Office of Student Financial Services. Assist with scholarship candidate selection.
