Waterville, ME -- The Terriers field hockey team finished their 2009 regular season with a 5-1 loss to the Spartans of Castleton State. Ally Kennedy (Readfield, ME) scored the Terriers only goal in the first half with an assist by Ali Kriegel (Winslow, ME). The first half ended 1-1; the Spartans scored four more goals in the second half. Castleton scores came from Courtney Nolan (Spring Lake Heights, NJ), Jessica Scott (Poultney, VT), two by Kealy Chipman (Bellows Falls, VT), and Marie Amaral (Barre, VT).

The Terriers finished the 2009 regular season with a 4-12 (2-5) record. The team will wait for the official standings to be released in the North Atlantic Conference to see if they qualify for the post season.
