Terriers can't hold off NHTI comeback

Waterville, ME -- The Thomas College Terrier Men's soccer team jumped out to a one goal lead thanks in part to James Grant. The Terriers came out shooting on all cylinders taking a total of 13 shots on NHTI's keeper. Dakota Letendre (NHTI) saw lots of action in the goal seeing seven shots on goal only allowing the lone goal.

In the second half, NHTI's coach must have gave the Lynx the confidence to make the comeback complete by scoring twice in the second half (32' by Brad Degaetano, 37' by Ryan Clark). Following the two goals by NHTI, the Terriers fought hard to try and score the equalizer. In the goal for the Terriers was James Leibowitz (3 saves on 5 SOG).

The match was also a bit rough at times with Thomas picking up a yellow card (James Grant). The next match for the Terriers men soccer team will be Tuesday, September 22th at 4PM playing at University of Southern Maine.
