The baseball game against Rhode Island College
has been cancelled. The clinic scheduled for Sunday, March 18th
will run as scheduled.
Youth Instructional Baseball Clinics
Thomas College baseball sponsors weekly
instructional baseball clinics every Sunday from September until the end
of March. Every Sunday from 9 am to noon, kids ages 6 and up learn
the fundamental skills of baseball from head coach
Greg King and several current Terrier players. Players will
have a rare opportunity to learn baseball from Coach King, who was
recently named head coach of the Hyannis Mets of the Cape Cod league.
When weather permits, the camp is held
outdoors at the Terriers home field, which is located behind the main
administration building on campus. During winter months, the camps
are held indoors at the brand new Harold Alfond Athletic Center. With
the opening of the athletic center, players will have the ability to
play on a full sized infield and a short outfield. Also located in the
athletic center is a full length batting cage and pitching machine for
hitters.
