Thomas Vanquished by Daniel Webster
WATERVILLE, ME -- September 7, 2008
The Thomas College Women's
Volleyball team hosted Daniel Webster College at
Larry Mahaney Gymnasium in Waterville, ME on Sunday
afternoon. Daniel Webster was victorious 3-0 in the
best of 5 match.
The first game had the final
score of 25-18. In game two, the Terriers were
defeated 25-16 and in game three they lost 25-15.
Heather Holmes, Kristalynn Kidd, and Sarah Marckoon
each had 5 kills in the defeat. Marckoon also led
Thomas with 9 digs in the match. Stephanie Swider
led the Terriers with 11 set assists.
The Terriers' next match is on
Wednesday, September 10th against the
University of Maine at Machias. The contest will be
held at Larry Mahaney Gymnasium in Waterville.
