IT Support Technician

Thomas College invites applications for the position of IT Support Technician – 2nd Shift starting October 1, 2015. Reporting to the Systems and Network Administrator, this entry-level Sunday-Thursday 3:00pm-11:00pm position will support a variety of end-users in support of Thomas’s academic, administrative, and student environments. Duties will also include software/hardware maintenance and infrastructure support.

A bachelor’s degree or equivalent in a related field is desired. Professional experience in the field or a related area is helpful. Experience with a variety of operating systems, Microsoft Office, mobile devices and operating systems, cloud services and VoIP is helpful.

Successful candidates should be able to demonstrate excellent written and verbal communication skills, strong customer service skills, prioritization skills, attention to detail and a high degree of technical aptitude. Candidates must be able to lift up to 50lbs.
