    "I think internships are a very important part of a college education. When I was a student at Thomas I had the opportunity to work at a job that taught employees at various local companies how to use a spreadsheet program.  That experience not only helped me deliver better in-class oral presentations, but it also was the beginning of my college teaching.  I've now been teaching college courses for over 15 years."
