workshop on Sunday February 13th at 7:00pm in the Atrium. The presentation will last around an hour. Pizza will be served. This presentation is open to all students – I
would greatly appreciate it if you would RSVP.

* Job Hunting Tips
– I read an article recently written by Pepi Sappal, the former editor of
GlobalHR Magazine, regarding hiring minority
talent. The article wraps up with great
advice for all job seekers:
Be
responsible for your own career
Build
relationships and create visibility through assignments or mentors
Work
for an organization with values you believe in.
Be
comfortable with who you are (I would add – keeping in mind there’s room for
improvement)
Don’t
be afraid to blow your own horn.
This
is great stuff. If you can do this
you’ll have built a network of colleagues who can help you advance in your
