Career Services Update - week of September 11, 2006!

* Congratulations New Hire! – Kristy Squiers came to the Career Services office last year with a plan – get a summer internship in retail management. Kristy spent the summer working at Walgreens in Arlington, MA and turned that into a full-time offer as an Assistant Manager when the Windham, ME store opens after she graduates. Kristy planned ahead - and worked with Career Services. How are your plans shaping up?

* Mark Your Calendar – The Washington Center will be visiting campus on Thursday September 21 outside the Dining Center from 11am – 1pm and in the Stickney Room at 5:00pm. TWC offers internships in the Washington D.C. area for students in every major. You can learn more by picking up information on the Career Services bulletin board.

Accounting majors your time is close at hand. The following dates have been scheduled for on-campus interviews:

Berry, Dunn, McNeil & Parker Thursday October 12

Macdonald Page & Co Tuesday October 17

Albin, Randall & Bennett Wednesday October 25

I will send complete details (with deadlines) to all accounting majors in the next few days (some dates may be added).

Enterprise Rent-A-Car will have an interview day on campus Tuesday November 14
