Career Services Update - week of September 27, 2004!

* Mark your calendar – David Bobbitt from The Washington Center  will be visiting campus on Tuesday October 5th.  From 11am – 1 pm he will be outside the Dining Center.  From 1pm until 2pm he will be in the Stickney Room.  TWC, a Thomas partner, offers internship opportunities that match your academic/professional goals located in Washington, D.C.  Their website explains more and I have brochures if you’d like to stop by and pick one up.

Invitations have been sent to those who have already applied for positions at Macdonald Page Schatz Fletcher, and interviews will be conducted on campus October 14th.  There is still time to submit an application.  To get an interview you must first submit your resume to Career Services.  You can email them  here.

Ted Asherman from Berry, Dunn, McNeil & Parker will be conducting on campus interviews  Monday October 18th.  Positions are listed on the Career Services Jobs Posting Page . Remember, there is a meet and greet event for accounting majors to learn more about Berry, Dunn w/ pizza in the Atrium on October 5th (please RSVP to Career Services by Monday 10/4)

* Career Information Day -  Monday October 18th Career Services is sponsoring an event that features speakers representing various professions.  Although primarily geared towards first-year students, everyone is welcome to attend a session.  This is a great way to meet someone who is working in your field of study.  Here’s the lineup:
