* Congratulations – Karla Brannen has accepted
a full time position with Dawson, Smith,
Purvis & Bassett. Karla will
work part-time during tax season and move to full time after graduation.

* Job Hunting – Sure a recruiter wants to
know you have the skills necessary to do the job, but what else are they
looking for? The biggest criticisms
among recent grads are poor communication skills and a lack of leadership
ability. Your time here at Thomas gives
you ample opportunities to work on both.

Calendar –
Wednesday Feb. 1 marks the annual UMaine Career Fair. There will be 95 employers in the Fieldhouse
from 10:00am until 3:00pm. For more info

On
February 9th TD Banknorth will be
on campus conducting interviews for 3 Auditor and 1 MIS summer
internships. The Internal Audit posting

The
Thomas College Career Fair is slated for March 15.
The
Maine Recruiting Consortium is sponsoring the Maine Tourism & Hospitality
Fair. The fair will focus on summer jobs,
is open to all college students and will be held Friday April 7th from 1:00 –
4:00pm at the Augusta Civic Center. You
are encouraged to pre-register
online prior to the event.

Assistant.
