* Job Hunting Tips
– What does
your voicemail sound like? Is it even
your voice on the recording? Sure the
“default” woman on the campus voicemail system has a nice voice (and mouths to
feed at home) but this is a chance for you to make an impression by recording a
professional greeting. This also works
both ways – check out this
article in the Careers section of msn.com.
It has some great pointers regarding things to think about when you
leave a voicemail message.
As
you look for an internship please keep in mind that it’s best to find an
opportunity that will expose you to a variety of work. You don’t want to work somewhere 15 weeks
only being able to say “I know I don’t want to work there”. By having completed different tasks you’ll be
in a better position to judge what work is best for you after graduation.
* New Jobs – The Jobs Posting site is
full to bursting with wholesome employment goodness including positions with
Social Security in
Also
listed are internships with accounting firm Bouchard and Associates in
Have a great week!
