Career Services Update - week of November 7, 2005!

* Mark Your Calendar – Sherwin Williams will be on campus tomorrow (Tuesday) outside the Dining Center from 11am until 1pm. They are looking for Sales Associates and Manager Trainee candidates.

* Job Hunting – I’ve spent the better part of the past day and a half distributing a survey to collect data on how/when local businesses do their hiring. I’ll be sharing this data when the surveys come back (in December) but I wanted to let you know that there are some businesses out there still hiring for the holiday.

In Waterville, Bath and Body Works, Lamey-Wellehan and Sears have openings. In Augusta Old Navy is looking for employees too. As you travel around town look in the windows – and on the counters of these businesses. There are still some help wanted signs out there.

* Housekeeping – The Career Services office will close at 11am tomorrow. I’m going on vacation and will be back on Monday November 21. If you have a resume emergency (or similar job related catastrophe) please feel free to speak with student affairs at ext. 243.
