Application Procedures

Thomas College welcomes applications for admission at any time throughout the year; however, we do encourage prospective students to submit all necessary forms and documentation several months prior to the intended enrollment date. • SAT and/or ACT scores are required for consideration for all bachelor degree candidates. The Thomas College code for score reporting is 3903 for the SAT and 1663 for the ACT
  • A non-refundable application fee of $40 (International students not living in the United States do not have to submit the application fee)

 Additional requirements for international applicants:
  • Applicants wanting to be considered for a merit scholarship need to submit test scores from the SAT and/or ACT
  • If English is not your primary language an English Proficiency Exam is required such as TOEFL, IELTS, or if you would like us to consider other forms, contact Gina Fasulo at fasulog@thomas.edu or (011) 1 207 859 1254
  • A Declaration of Financial Status

Optional:

  • Send a photograph of yourself. This is used for identification and public relations purposes. Your application will be considered with or without your photograph.

Thomas College invites applications from prospective degree candidates without regard to race, creed, sex, sexual orientation, handicap or age.

Early Action:

Students who wish to be notified of acceptance early in their senior year may apply for early action. To be considered for this option, all application materials must be received by the Admissions Office on or before December 15th. Notification of admission through this program will be made on or prior to December 31st. Early admission at Thomas College is a non-binding offer of admission.

Personal interviews are not required, but are recommended for all applicants. Interviews and tours of the campus are conducted Monday through Friday between the hours of 8:00 a.m. to 4:30 p.m. We also offer multiple opportunities to visit us on selected Saturday’s throughout the year. Students who visit our campus, or attend one of our open house or visitation days, will receive an application fee waiver card to submit with their application for admission in lieu of the $40 application fee.

Call Jess Rodrigue, visit coordinator at 207-859-1101 or email at admiss@thomas.edu to schedule your interview and tour.

Financial Assistance Procedures

Students seeking financial assistance other than merit scholarships should file a Free Application for Federal Student Aid (FAFSA) and list Thomas College (Title IV code 002052) as an authorized recipient of the student's information. Applicants for admission will automatically be considered for merit scholarship. Some merit scholarships may require additional application procedures.
