Merit Scholarship

Realize over 94% of our student receive some sort of financial assistance.
Merit scholarships are awarded to first-time college students based on cumulative high school GPA and SAT / ACT scores. The scholarship levels are:

All scholarship amounts are per year and are renewable for up to a maximum of four years of study at Thomas. All recipients are eligible to apply for additional need-based aid by completing a Free Application for Federal Student Aid (FAFSA) form.
To receive any of the above scholarships you only need to apply for admission and be accepted to Thomas.
Overall high school GPA and SAT/ACT is calculated at the time of acceptance by the Admissions Office at Thomas College using your high school's grading system.
SAT I scores may be reported directly to Thomas College or be taken from your high school transcript. At the time of acceptance, we will use your best total score from one testing session.
The above merit scholarships are for first-time college students. (High school seniors taking courses at a local college are still eligible.)
Recipients of a merit scholarship must maintain the stated overall grade point average to maintain the scholarship:

Athletic participation or ability is not considered in selecting recipients for any scholarship at Thomas College.
