Scholarships Available to New Students

Thomas College Merit Scholarship Programs: Includes Academic Merit Scholarship Program and Leadership Scholarship Program, for eligible first time students.

International Scholarship Program:  Renewable undergraduate scholarships of $12,000 are awarded to international students who meet all the requirements for admission to the College.  Recipients of this scholarship must live in on-campus housing, participate in at least one organization (other than a sport) per year, and maintain a minimum of a 2.50 cumulative grade point average.

Business Educators Association of Maine (BEAM) Scholarships: Each year, high school students from all regions of Maine vie in local, regional, and state competitions, testing their skill and knowledge in different business subject areas.  Those students who finish in the top three places in each contest in the state competition are awarded scholarships to be used during their first year at Thomas.  Students must be enrolled full time.  The BEAM scholarship amounts are as follows: first place, $2,500; second place, $1,500; third place, $1,000.  These scholarships are not transferable to other institutions.

Athletic participation or ability is not considered in selecting recipients for any scholarship at Thomas College.
