Scholarships Available to New Students

Thomas College Merit Scholarship Programs: Includes Academic Merit Scholarship Program and Leadership Scholarship Program, for eligible first time students.

John Thomas, SR. Memorial Scholarship:
$1,000 renewable scholarships awarded to students graduating in the top half of their class from the following Maine high schools: Cony, Erskine Academy, Gardiner, Hall-Dale, Lawrence, Madison, Maine Central Institute, Messalonskee, Mt. View, Nokomis, Skowhegan, Waterville, Winslow, and Winthrop.

Business Educators Association of Maine (BEAM) Scholarships: Each year, high school students from all regions of Maine vie in local, regional, and state competitions, testing their skill and knowledge in different business subject areas.  Those students who finish in the top three places in each contest in the state competition are awarded scholarships to be used during their first year at Thomas.  Students must be enrolled full time.  The BEAM scholarship amounts are as follows: first place, $2,500; second place, $1,500; third place, $1,000.  These scholarships are not transferable to other institutions.

International Graduate Scholarship: International students who are admitted into our accelerated MBA program, may qualify for our International Graduate Scholarship that is granted at the time of admission. Recipients of this scholarship must live in on-campus housing.

Athletic participation or ability is not considered in selecting recipients for any scholarship at Thomas College.
