Prior to coming to Thomas in August of 2010, Tracey L. Horton, Ph.D., taught psychology for eight years at Wake Technical Community College in Raleigh, North Carolina. Previously, she worked as a clinical psychologist in the criminal justice system in N.C. in several capacities, including administering an alternative sentencing program and doing capital mitigation, and she evaluated and treated juvenile and adult offenders both in prison and in the community. She was also active in the restorative justice movement and efforts to abolish capital punishment.
