Meal Plans

All meal plans are selected and purchased through the offices of Student Financial Services. (Extension 105).    

Terrier Plan - 19 Meals

First Year and Upper-Class Meal Plan Option

This plan offers the best value for students accustomed to eating three
meals a day and for students that which to take advantage of enjoying many meals
with their friends at The Dining Hall.  This plan includes three meals
daily, Monday through Friday, and bunch and dinner on the weekends.

Oak Leaf Plan - 15 Meals

First Year and Upper-Class Meal Plan Option

This meal plan provides 15 entries to The Dining Hall for breakfast, lunch or
dinner, Monday through Friday; or brunch or dinner on the weekends.  The
plan provides for your choice of 15 meals per week.  This plan also offers
$175 in board bucks which can be used in The Dining Hall or at The Dog Pound.


Black and Red plan - 10 Meals

 Upper-Class Student Meal Plan Option

This meal plan provides 10 entries to The Dining Hall for breakfast, lunch or
dinner, Monday through Friday; or brunch or dinner on the weekends.  The
plan provides for your choice of 10 meals per week.  This plan also offers
$275 per semester in  board bucks which can be used in The Dining Hall of
at The Dog Pound.

Commuter Meal Plans - 5 Meals per week

Signing up for a commuter meal plan guarantees you a preferred way to experience
a well-balanced-all-you-care-to-eat meal anytime during the semester at The
Dining Hall.  The commuter meal plan will allow you to enjoy any meal on
campus with your friends and not carry cash.  This meal plan will allow a
commuter student 5 entries to The Dining Hall.

Bag Lunches


Bag lunches are available for students on a meal plan who may not be able to eat
at the Dining Center. A 24 hour notice is requested for a bag lunch.

Using Your Meal Card

Your Thomas College ID Card can be your ticket to the dining hall. With the
purchase of a meal plan simply present it when you visit the Dining Hall. Each
time, one meal is subtracted from your balance. The meal plan week resets early
Saturday morning (after 2:00 am). Any unused meals are not transferable week to
week.

Please treat your Thomas student ID (meal plan card) as a credit card. DO NOT
lend it to anyone or borrow one from someone else.

Selecting your meal plan


When choosing a meal plan, think carefully about each selection available to you
before making your decision. For assistance in choosing a meal plan, feel free

One of our main goals is to provide a pleasant, clean, comfortable and
satisfying dining experience. In order to meet this goal, we ask for your
assistance with the following procedures:

  • Please bus your dishes and disposables from your table when you have finished dining
  • Please refrain from taking food, dishes or utensils from the dining area.
  • Remember that Meal Cards are non-transferable. Meal cards cannot be used by anyone but the purchaser.

Q. If I'm not a Resident Hall Student, where do I buy my meal plan?


If you live off-campus, you can a commuter meal plan through the Office of
Student Financial Services.

Q.  What is the difference between Terrier Bucks and Board Bucks?

Terrier Bucks is money which you can add to your student I.D.  Board Bucks
is money which is added to your Student I.D. when you sign up for a meal plan.

Q.  Where can I use Terrier Bucks and Board Bucks?

Terrier Bucks and Board Bucks both can be used in The Dining Hall and The Dog
Pound.  Board Bucks may only be used for the purchase of food. 
Terrier Bucks may be used to purchase food in The Dining Hall or The Dog Pound
or merchandise in the campus store.

Q.  How can I purchase additional Terrier Bucks and Board Bucks?

Additional Terrier Bucks may be purchased through the office of Student
Financial Services or online through the Thomas website at:  https://webcard.thomas.edu
.  Board Bucks can no be purchased as they come with your meal plan.
