Career Services is a department within Student Affairs and supports the overall mission, academic programs, and advancement of Thomas College. Within this context, the primary purpose of career services is to assist students and alumni in developing and implementing their career, education, and employment decisions and plans.

Rich has been in Career Services at Thomas since 2009, and prior to that, he was an academic program director at the University of Maine for three years. Rich has more than fifteen years of business experience, primarily with L.L. Bean. He has his MBA and his BS in Business Administration, both from the University of Southern Maine. Rich enjoys working with students on making the important transition from student to professional (backpacks to briefcases!)

Diane has been in career education for over 10 years. She holds a BS in Public Administration from the University of Maine at Augusta and has been a GCDF since 2003. She has work experience in banking, pharmacy, and special education and loves to travel. Working with students on career planning, raising aspirations, and building job seeking skills is her passion.
The Thomas College Career Services staff, Rich Grant and Diane Anderson, are both certified Global Career Development Facilitators (GCDF’s).
