The Career Services staff would like to congratulate you on your acceptance to Thomas College and appreciate that you have chosen to attend college here. There's a lot to be excited about as you explore all that is new to you - new programs, new buildings, new teachers and new classmates!
The career planning and development process starts during your first year of college, and it builds from there. Actually, you've probably already begun the process of career planning but just haven't really thought of it in that way.
Self-knowledge is where we start at Career Services. As you go through this journey, it will be important for you to reflect on your skills, interests, likes, dislikes, abilities, and dreams.
After that we work with you to enable you to reach your goals and build toward a career. We provide tools and support for the job search process itself. Career planning is an important aspect of what you’ll gain through your college experience – and something you’ll use the rest of your life!
Visit the Career Services Office both in person and online for information that will help you plan your career and then launch a successful job search. If you don't find what you need, please let us know.
