Thomas College Guaranteed Job Program

New Guaranteed Job Program Contract –
Applicable For students entering in Fall 2013 and beyond

On August 1, 2013 a new Guaranteed Job Program contract was approved by President Laurie Lachance. Students entering Thomas College after August 2013 will be under the new Guaranteed Job Program contract and must fulfill the requirements of the new contract in order to be eligible for benefits.

A copy of the new Guaranteed Job Program Contract can be found here, which outlines the requirements and benefits of the program.

Students entering Thomas after August 2013 can access the "Guaranteed Job Program Requirements" through MyThomas. This section of MyThomas provides helpful information about the requirements, as well as a "How" button, where details on how to complete each requirement can be found.

Old Guaranteed Job Program Contract –
Applicable for Students entering Thomas prior to August 1, 2013

Students who entered Thomas College prior to August 1, 2013 and signed the previous Guaranteed Job Program contract will NOT need to sign the new Guaranteed Job Program contract or complete any of the new Guaranteed Job Program requirements. Students who have signed the contract prior to August 2013 will be responsible for fulfilling the requirements from the old Guaranteed Job Program contract.

A copy of the previous Guaranteed Job Program Contract can be found here, which outlines the requirements and benefits of the program.

While the new requirements of the Guaranteed Job Program are not mandatory, students are strongly encouraged to complete the new Guaranteed Job Program requirements to better prepare them for securing employment. Completing the new requirements of the Guaranteed Job Program such as attending Career Services workshops, fulfilling a Leadership component, and completing community service will only better prepare students for finding employment after graduation.

Career Services can answer questions and offer assistance to students regarding the requirements of the Guaranteed Job Program.
