Assistant Women’s Soccer Coach
Thomas College a NCAA Division III institution and a member of the North Atlantic Conference in Waterville, Maine seeks a dynamic and energetic individual for the position of Assistant Coach in Women’s Soccer. This is a part-time hourly position that will assist the head coach in the day to day operations of the team and that will adhere to all policies and procedures of Thomas College, the Athletic Department and all rules/regulations of the NCAA and NAC. Operations of the program to include the recruitment and retention of student athletes, coaching in practices and games, and academic and athletic development of student athletes. Qualifications: Bachelors degree preferred, prior intercollegiate playing and coaching experience, motor vehicle and criminal background record checks are required of all applicants.

Area Coordinator (2)
Thomas College seeks two innovative and self-motivated professionals to join our Student Affairs team as an Area Coordinator for the First Year Area and Upper Class Area within the department of Residential Life.
Reporting directly to the Assistant Dean of Students, the Area Coordinator will have responsibilities in supervision of the paraprofessional staff, administration and community development within the first year residential area, sharing on-call duties with one other Area Coordinator, emergency response and operations management. In addition, the Area Coordinator will devote a portion of their time assisting with housing & facilities, programming and community development and staff training and development.
The Area Coordinator position is an 11 month, live-in administrative position that would operate outside of traditional business hours.
The successful candidate must have Bachelor's degree in Higher Education or related field, with a Master's degree preferred, minimum of two years previous experience in Residence Life, good administrative, supervisory and organizational skills, and be able to effectively communicate with students and other campus and community constituents. Candidates must possess a valid driver’s license and ability to pass the College’s vehicle and criminal background check.

Information Resource Specialist
Thomas College invites applications for the position of Information Resource Specialist. Reporting to the Director of Library Services, this person will focus on three key areas; instructional technology support, information literacy support, and supervision of several part-time student employees. This position typically works from mid-morning to evenings five days per week.
A college degree and a minimum of two years’ experience are preferred. Extensive relevant work experience may be accepted in lieu of a degree. Moodle, online learning technologies, online library databases, audio/video equipment and Microsoft Windows/Office experience is helpful. Successful candidates should be able to demonstrate strong customer service skills, excellent written and verbal communication skills, training/education skills, information literacy skills and an attention to detail. Successful candidates should be able to display initiative and be able to work independently as well as collaboratively in a constantly changing environment with a diverse group of students, faculty, and staff.
