One of the exciting things about being a student at Thomas College is all of the opportunities to get involved not only with your academics and studies, but also with student organizations and leadership opportunities outside of the classroom.
Clubs and Groups: Most student organizations are free to join and provide the opportunity to connect with other students and help plan and attend social, service and recreational events. For information on student organizations, please click here.
What's Happening?: There is always something happening on campus! Every Friday, the campus community is sent an e-mail from TerrierNews outlining the events for the upcoming week. This is the best way to stay up to date on what's going on. You can also check out the online activities calendar, get updates from the TerrierNews Facebook or Twitter site or check your e-mail for daily reminders. Families - did you know you can sign up to receive Friday "What's Happening" updates too? Click here to sign up!
Leadership Series: Thomas also offers all students an opportunity to participate in a Leadership Series provided each fall consisting of workshops and programs designed to help students build their leadership skills. You will have the opportunity to sign up for this program during Welcome Week in the fall or watch your e-mail once you are on campus for more information.
Intramurals: Intramural sports (fun and non-competitive sports on student organized teams, competing against other teams of Thomas College Students) are very popular on campus and a great way to get involved. For information on Intramurals, click here.
Alfond Center : If you’re just looking for a way to stay active mentally or physically, check out the Alfond Athletic Center. The Alfond Athletic Center offers you many different options including cardiovascular fitness workout equipment, weight machines and free standing lifting weights. There are also a variety of free classes offered throughout the week including Yoga, Zumba and cardiovascular fitness classes. For more information, check out the Alfond Athletic Center page.
