Hometown:
Benton, Maine

Alma mater:
St. Lawrence University B.S. 2004 & M.S. 2008

Best part of your job:
Seeing students that enter campus the first day and then walk across the stage 4 years later. Knowing that what they accomplished at Thomas will make them successful in their future.

Tips for college success:
Find your Fit! I always encourage students to do their homework when it comes to searching for colleges. Visit, ask questions, and talk with people about colleges that you are interested in. This is your future- definitely invest the time to find the college that has everything you want (I hope it is Thomas).

Favorite Thomas fun fact:
That we guarantee graduates of Thomas a job within six months! How’s that for return on investment?!?

Favorite Waterville restaurant(s):
Buen Apetito’s and Grand Central Cafe

If I didn’t work in Admissions, I’d be:
A professional runner or triathlete (this would be a dream however). If it weren’t a dream, probably a College XC and Track Coach. Why you decided to work at the Thomas? The changes that have occurred over the past 10 years have been remarkable. The leadership, faculty, staff, and students are quite amazing as well. It feels like home.

Where you're most likely to be found hanging out on campus?
Depends—most of the day you will find me the admissions suite, but other days you might find me on the roads, running with the XC team.

If you were stranded on a deserted island, what three items would you bring?
A pair of running shoes, my pillow, and soap.

Quote to Live by:
“If you think someone is AWESOME, tell them! The world NEEDS more of THAT!”

Favorite thing to do in Waterville:
My wife, dog (Oakley), and I like to explore all the walking and hiking trails. We also enjoy eating out when time allows.

Family members that attend Thomas:
Yes, my Great Aunt graduated from Thomas in the early 1930’s!
