Computer Lab and Equipment Rental

 

Thomas College computer labs and equipment exist to support and enhance the mission of the institution. When available, these facilities may be rented by non-college groups. The following are general guidelines for their rental. More specific information may be obtained by calling the Facilities office (located within the CED/Grad Office) at 859-1102, or by emailing her at facilities@thomas.edu .  Labs and equipment may be rented in accordance with the facilities usage policy and the following special stipulations:

 

  1. Computer and computer lab rental are scheduled through the Facilities office in consultation with the Vice President for IT Services.
  2. Lab monitors must be present when labs are being rented (included in the rental price).
  3. Computers and computer equipment must be returned to their original state upon completion of the program. Computers may not be removed from the lab.
  4. Repair of any equipment due to misuse will be charged to the renting party. Misuse is defined by the Vice President for IT Services.
  5. The renting party must sign an Acceptable Use Policy (AUP) on behalf of their group prior to using the computer lab and/or equipment. The AUP may be found at http://www.thomas.edu/it/acceptable.asp.
  6. All supplies (toner, paper, etc.) are the responsibility of the renting party, and may be purchased from the college with appropriate prior notification.
  7. Special set ups may be arranged; fees will be determined for these services by the

Vice President for IT Services.

      8.   Technology-enhanced classrooms other than computer labs are also available for

Rental charges:

 

Computer lab                                 $100/day (multiple day/lab rates available)

                                                      $ 50/half-day (4 hours or less)

Laptop                                           $20/day (multiple day rates available)
