Students in the Hotel/Restaurant Management program at Thomas College study all major facets of the industry. Graduates of the program have worked to develop the leadership skills necessary to make their organizations successful. At Thomas, skill development in the service sector-- personal selling, human resources, legal and compliance issues, food service, meeting and event planning, and financial management -- runs deep, and these are just some of the skill sets that give our graduates the winning edge.
At Thomas, we emphasize internship as an integral part of this program. Students have interned from local resorts to international destinations in order to hone their skills. Many of our students work in the field while completing their degree. From industry conventions to food shows, our students have been there, which is why Thomas graduates are known to be leaders in their field.
