The Library Services' mission is to
support the academic and personal enrichment of students,
faculty, and staff with leading-edge service, information
resources, facilities, and systems.
Conveniently situated on two floors in the administration
building, the library offers a local collection of approximately
20,000 print and media items. The Thomas Community has further access to several million titles
through interlibrary loan through its participation in MINERVA
consortium, MaineCat, and several out of state institutional and
government libraries.
The Thomas College Library provides access to over 50 online
databases containing thousands of journal abstracts, indices and
roughly 20,000 full text journals, reports, and dissertations.
Accessible databases include the EBSCOhost Research databases,
LexisNexis Academic, SPORTDiscus, Gale-Cengage InfoTrac databases
and the Maine Infonet's MARVEL! collection.
