Thomas Features Cathy Lacombe as Artist of the Month

           Thomas is featuring the work of Cathy Lacombe in its art gallery during the month of July.

            Lacombe’s work is done spontaneously on location or observed from fall through spring and then recorded with a camera and completed in her studio. Lacombe has displayed her work at the Underground Gallery in Waterville, Central Maine Medical Center in Lewiston, Key Bank, Kennebec Federal Savings and Bank of America in Waterville.

            Lacombe has served as an art director for the The Alfond Center in Waterville and taught art for the Waterville Adult Education Program. She is also a member of the Waterville Main Street Community Arts Initiative. Lacombe has a bachelor’s in art from the University of Maine at Augusta.

Lacombe’s work will be on display in the College’s art gallery in its administration building at 180 West River Road in Waterville. The gallery is open to the public Mondays through Fridays, 8 a.m. to 4:30 p.m.
