Jeffery Lucas is Artist of the Month

            Thomas is featuring the classic black and white photographs of Jeffery Lucas in its art gallery during the month of November.
     Lucas, of Clinton, is the owner of Black Dog Graphics, a screen-printing company. For the last 30 years, Lucas has held one-person shows at schools and galleries throughout the northeast and contributed to touring-group shows that travel the country.
     He graduated from the University of New York where he studied photography. He has experience working as a commercial photographer and as a teacher of photography.
     Lucas’s work is on display in the College’s art gallery in its administration building at 180 West River Road in Waterville. The gallery is open to the public Mondays through Fridays, 8 a.m. to 4:30 p.m.
