Business Breakfast Series Slated for January 12
The January edition of the Business Breakfast
Series will focus on factors contributing to the rising costs of health care in
Maine.
Kristine Ossenfort, senior government affairs
specialist for the Maine State Chamber of Commerce, will lead the discussion
titled: Health Care Costs – What is Driving Them and How Do We Regain Control?
Topics to be addressed at the January 12 event will also include
what Maine employees and consumers can do to help control health care costs, and
the impact the state government-led health insurance plan, Dirigo Health has on
Maine businesses.
The presentation will be held in the Atrium at Thomas’s Student
Center building on the Thomas campus located at 180 West River Road in
Waterville. The public is invited to attend. The event begins at 7:30 a.m.
The cost per
person is $13 for members with advanced registration, $15 for members at the
