Donald Kennedy is Artist of the Month

         Thomas is featuring the acrylic and watercolor paintings of Donald Kennedy in its art gallery during the month of July.
         The Florida resident who summers in Maine considers his work to be semi-abstract and expressionistic with an emphasis on color. He has exhibited his work since 1968 and he has received numerous awards in Florida and Maine. Kennedy has a master’s from Murray State University in Kentucky.
         Kennedy’s work is on display in the College’s art gallery in its administration building at 180 West River Road in Waterville. The gallery is open to the public Mondays through Fridays, 8 a.m. to 4 p.m.
