Next Business Breakfast Series Slated for June 8

         Thomas College, in partnership with the Mid-Maine Chamber of Commerce, will hold the June edition of its Business Breakfast Series on Thursday, June 8.
         The presentation, titled, “Employment Traps for the Unwary,” will focus on new state laws that are impacting how businesses operate and how employers manage risk.
         Gregg Frame, Esq., of Portland-based Taylor, McCormack & Frame LLC, will lead the discussion. Frame practices labor and employment law, business development and civil litigation. His labor work includes orchestrating union campaigns on behalf of management and negotiating initial and successor collective bargaining agreements. On the employment side, Frame serves as counselor to public and private entities on issues ranging from hiring and termination procedures to complex employment litigation to compliance with the numerous employment laws and regulations.
         The presentation will be held in the Atrium at Thomas’ Student Center building on the Thomas campus located at 180 West River Road in Waterville. The public is invited to attend. The event begins at 7:30 a.m.
