Tracy Medling is Artist of
the Month
Thomas is
featuring the oil and color pencil paintings of
Tracy Medling
in its art gallery during the month of May.
The
subjects in his work are from Medling’s 50-acre
farm in Anson where he raises chickens, keeps bees and tends organic gardens.
The
award-winning artist has exhibited in numerous galleries including the Grenning
Galley in Sag Harbor, N.Y., and the Maine Mass. House is Lincolnville. His work
is also currently on display at The Fore Street Gallery in Portland and
Charkhouse Gallery in Bangor. Medling is a graduate of the University of
Connecticut.
Medling’s
work is on display in the College’s art gallery
in its administration building at 180 West River Road in Waterville. The gallery
is open to the public Mondays through Fridays, 8 a.m. to 4:30 p.m.
Thomas is a private,
