Thomas Features Laurie Proctor-Lefebvre as Artist of the Month
Thomas is featuring the oil and watercolor paintings of Laurie Proctor-Lefebvre in its art gallery during the month of November.
The Maine native teaches art classes to children and adults in the Waterville community. She is also working on artwork for a children’s story she has written. The prize-winning artist has most recently won first place in a Waterville sidewalk art show this past summer. Proctor-Lefebvre, who uses all mediums, finds painting a way to express herself without using words.
Proctor-Lefebvre holds a master’s degree in social work and is a licensed clinical social worker. She works for MaineGeneral Medical Center.
Proctor-Lefebvre’s work is on display in the College’s art gallery in its administration building at 180 West River Road in Waterville. The gallery is open to the public Mondays through Fridays, 8 a.m. to 4:30 p.m.
