Celebrate Earth Day at Thomas
Campus clean up and live music planned

WATERVILLE, April 18 — The Thomas College community will celebrate Earth Day on Sunday by cleaning up the campus, playing ultimate Frisbee and eating barbeque.
On Sunday, April 22, the student senate and Office of Student Affairs have a full day of activities planned for students and their friends as well as faculty and staff. There will be a free drawing for an Earth-Day basket giveaway and lunch will be provided for all workers. All materials needed for the campus clean up that begins at 9:30 a.m., will be provided.
Here’s the day’s schedule:
9:30 a.m. to Noon: Campus Clean up
- Choose how you would like to help by signing up outside of the Student Affairs Office for trash clean up, mulching, window cleaning or laying gravel.
11 a.m. to 1 p.m. Campus BBQ
- Available to all those who participate in the campus clean up
- Grilled chicken breast
- hamburgers
- hot dogs
- corn on the cob
- potato salad
- pasta salad
- chips
- watermelon
- M&M cookies
- soda and water
11 a.m. to 1 p.m. Live Band
1 p.m. to 3 p.m. Bocce Ball, Horseshoes and Ultimate Frisbee
1 p.m. Women’s Lacrosse Game
3 p.m. Men’s Lacrosse Game
