Seals 1000th career point during Castleton State game

         WATERVILLE, Jan 20 — Kim Drosdik, of Farmington, scored her 1,000th career point, three minutes into the game against Castleton State College, Saturday night. Drosdik connected on her first two 3-pointers of the game to reach the milestone. She became the ninth player in women's basketball history at Thomas to record 1,000 points.
         The Thomas College women’s basketball team (10-6, 6-2 NAC) ended their 10-game winning streak with a 61-60 loss to Castleton State College, (9-6, 6-3 NAC), at the Larry Mahaney Gymnasium.
         The Terriers were led by Lea McNary, of Marlborough, Conn., with 19 points and four rebounds. Leading the way for Castleton State was Jenn Goff of Granville, N.Y., with 22 points, four rebounds and two blocks.
