Thomas College Features Holly Johnson as Artist of the Month

WATERVILLE, March 20 - Thomas College is featuring the original paintings of Holly Johnson in its art gallery during the month of April.
The exhibit to be on display includes realistic and impressionistic watercolor and gouache paintings
inspired by the birds and wildlife Johnson finds herself surrounded by in the woods, wetlands and fields on Winterberry Farm.
Johnson has painted artwork for use as prints by a major paper company to exhibit its quality paper. She has studied with many Maine coastal artists.
She was a docent for the Colby College Museum of Art and has been a member of the Waterville Area Art Society for the past seven years.
Johnson currently resides in China, Maine. Her paintings and bird cards can be purchased at Duck
Trap Decoys and Art Gallery in Lincolnville Beach, Maine.
Johnson's work is on display in the College's art gallery in its administration building at 180 West River Road in Waterville. The gallery is open to
the public Mondays through Fridays, 8 a.m. to 4 p.m.
