Thomas Student-Athletes Recognized
WATERVILLE, Feb. 4 - Several Thomas College student athletes have received special recognition as NCAA Division III Student-Athletes. They have received special recognition by the North Atlantic Conference for the Fall of 2007.
There were 72 NAC student-athletes who received this honor during the past semester, which requires the individual to have competed in a minimum of two years in their sport, have reached
junior academic standing, and have a cumulative GPA of at least 3.50.
Thomas College had five student-athletes who were eligible for the honor. Cory Daigneault of Biddeford, Maine is a junior at
Thomas majoring in accounting. He has played on the men's soccer team
for the past three seasons. Karen Demers of Sanford, Maine is a senior
at Thomas majoring in criminal justice. She received the honor for her
competition on the Thomas women's soccer team. Amy Miles of Waldo,
Maine received the honor for her competition on the Thomas field
hockey team. She is a junior at Thomas majoring in criminal justice.
Tim Hartin of Island Falls, Maine is a junior at Thomas majoring
in sports management. He has competed for the Thomas golf team
