Thomas Women's Basketball Qualifies for Playoffs
Lady Terriers Win Five of Final Six Conference Games to Earn Spot
WATERVILLE, February 25 - The Thomas College women's basketball team has qualified for the North Atlantic Conference
playoffs and has earned the fourth seed in the NAC East division. The Terriers will travel to the top seed of the NAC West division,
Castleton State College (18-7; 13-2 NAC), for first-round action on Tuesday, February 26. The game is slated to start at 6 p.m.
Thomas finished their regular season and will enter the NAC playoffs with momentum as they won 8 of their
last 11 games to improve their overall record to 12-11. The Terriers also won five of their final six conference games to
earn the fourth and final NAC East division spot.
The Terriers secured the spot this past weekend with wins over Lesley College and Bay Path College
at Larry Mahaney Gymnasium. Thomas enters the playoffs having only lost one conference match-up during the month of February.
