Thomas College Athletes Recognized
Two Students Named to NAC All-Conference Teams

WATERVILLE, March 4 -- Two Thomas College Student-Athletes were recently recognized for their season-long sustained superior performance. The selections were made by the women's and men's basketball coaches from the North Atlantic Conference for their respective sports and announced on February 29, 2008.

Lea McNary, a fourth-year student from Marlborough, Conn., was a 3rd Team All-Conference Selection. McNary led the Terriers in eight statistical categories this season. Two of those categories were scoring and rebounding, scoring 10.8 points and 6.9 rebounds per game.

Andrew Duncanson, a first-year student from Portland, Maine, earned NAC Rookie of the Year honors. Duncanson led all conference freshmen in scoring. He averaged 17.5 points per conference game and 3.77 assists per game ranking him sixth in the conference in both categories. Duncanson was also among the league leaders in steals (2.00 per game), three-point field goal percentage (44.4%) and assist-to-turnover ratio.
