Thomas Men's Lacrosse Team Earns Several North Atlantic Conference Honors

WATERVILLE, May 2 - The Thomas College Men's Lacrosse team recently received several honors from the North Atlantic Conference (NAC).
Thomas head coach Tom Sheridan was honored as the NAC Coach of the Year by his peers.
Sheridan guided the Terriers to their second straight NAC tournament appearance with a 4-3 mark and an overall winning record of 7-6.
Maine Maritime and Thomas were both recipients of the Team Sportsmanship Award. NAC all-conference selections
are determined by a vote of the conference coaches.
Thomas midfielder Mike Ross '08 of York was named the North Atlantic Conference Men's Lacrosse Player of the Year.
Ross was among the league leaders in goals, points and ground balls scoring 21 goals in conference play and averaging nearly nine ground balls per game.
Thomas goalkeeper Josh Colello '11 of Yarmouth was honored as the league's Rookie of the Year. Colello allowed just seven
goals per conference contest and led the league with a .682 save percentage, averaging 15 saves per game
The following players were named to the All-Conference First Team: Kolby Peckham '10 of West Gardiner, Mike Ross '08 and Josh Colello '11.
In addition, Charlie Buckingham '08 of Augusta was named to the All-Conference Second Team.
