Thomas Features Pauline Turner as Artist of the Month

WATERVILLE, June 11 —Thomas is featuring the original watercolor paintings of Pauline Turner in its art gallery during the month of June.

Turner, of Lewiston, paints a variety of watercolor landscapes, houses and water fronts. The foundation of her artistry was inspired while she attended parochial school and later when she lived in a Dominican convent.

She has taught watercolor classes at Waterville High School. She is the co-founder and member of the Waterville Area Art Society, member the Bangor Art Society, and volunteer lecturer at the Colby College Museum of Art.

Turner’s work is on display in the College’s art gallery in its administration building at 180 West River Road in Waterville. The gallery is open to the public Mondays through Fridays, 8 a.m. to 4 p.m.
