Order for Round #1
Score

Contest Rules
1. Equipment will be provided at
the contest
2. Students should sign-up in
advance
3. Each participant will have
one minute to make as many
baskets as possible in both rounds #1 and #2
4. Balls will be moved around the
three-point arc with five shooting spots marks with half cones
5. Other contestants will be asked
to rebound balls back to the ball rack with two people stationed
under at the hoop and one two people stationed at the ball rack, one
to feed the balls to the contestant shooting and one to collect the
balls from the rebounders and place them into the rack.
4. Only legally attempted shots,
both feet behind the 3-pt. arch at the release of the ball, will
count towards the participants final score
5. Score will be recorded by a
member of the Athletic Center Staff and will serve as the official
score for the event
6. Each made basket will count as
one point
7. To qualify for the Second
Round, a participant must score a minimum of
6 points for men and 4
points for women
8. To qualify for the
Final Round, a participant must
score (in the second round) a minimum of 8
points for men and 6 points for
women
9. Participants who qualify for
the final round will have five minutes rest and then to return and attempt
their final round
10. Rules for the Final Round are
the same as for previous rounds
11. The individual champion will
be determined by combining the
two qualifying round scores and the Final Round score
