CLASSES TO BEGIN October 1st

 

The Schedule

 

We are pleased to welcome Karen Thompson back to Thomas college.  She has been teaching group fitness classes for 11 years, including step aerobics, floor aerobics, cross-training or interval training, and some cardio kickboxing.  She is a member of the Aerobics and Fitness Association of America (AFAA), with whom she received her group exercise certification.

She has a B.S. in Finance/Investments from Babson College.  She lives in Waterville with her husband Mark and 2 children.  Beside aerobic/fitness classes, she enjoys cross country skiing, snowshoeing, and her son's model trains.

Karen will tailor the class to fit the needs of the students.  This class will be a one hour total body workout, including step and muscle conditioning/body sculpting using hand held weights, in intervals.  She always does some ab work and stretching at the end of each class, no matter what the format.  Karen takes the time to talk to the members of her classes to see what their goals are and she then tailors a class to meet their needs.
