When:
Beginning November 19th

The Rec Room
- What:
The Foosballs can be
signed out from the Athletic Center's Front
Desk. Student must leave ID and once ball
is returned, the ID will be returned
Format:
The format of this tournament to be determined after
participants sign-up.
All Intramural Matches must
be completed by the "play by" deadline date.
Opponents will be e-mailed this date by the
Director. If matches are not played by this
date, both participants will be forfeited from
further competition. Participants that have
difficulty playing or getting in touch with their
opponents must contact the Intramural Coordinator
immediately. It is the participant's responsibility
to contact their opponent, play their matches, and
report their scores to the Intramural Coordinator
(all before the deadline date). Up-to-date
tournament brackets will be available on the
Web site.
Report
Your Scores
It is the winning
player's/team's responsibility to report the match
scores. Scores can be reported directly on the
brackets posted outside of the Director's door or
via an e-mail to the Director.

General Rules
- Best 2 out of 3 games
will determine winner
- All games will be
played to 5 points
Playing Rules
Flip a coin:
• Winner chooses table
side or first serve
• Loser gets the remaining
The Serve:
• After assuring
opponent is ready, serve through the serving
hole located on the side of the table
• Subsequent Serves are served by the player
that was
o Last scored upon
OR
o Lost last game or if first game and no
score has been made the player that
originally served will serve again
• Once a ball is put in
play it remains in play until ball becomes:
o Off the table
o Declared dead
o A point is scored
Dead Ball:
• Ball stops moving out
of reach of any play figures
o Re-served by
original server OR
o If in goal area, put into play by the
goalie. Penalty: Balls intentionally made
dead are re-served by the opponent
Point Scored:
• Any legally scored
ball counts (even if it goes into and out of the
goal)
After a game
players will change sides
Spinning the Rods:
• Teams must decide
before the game begins if rotating a rod more
then 360 degrees before or after advancing the
ball will be legal or illegal (excessive
spinning may be a distraction)
o Penalty: If ball
scores, no point, opposing goalie puts ball
into play
